Report Walk-in Evening #1: CUBE Reveal

Wednesday evening, 12/03/2025, we held the first open evening of the calendar year. Municipal Night Service members and N8W8 members were on hand to answer your questions. In total, about 25 people walked in from all corners of the night, and we chatted and made connections. Makers, programmers, entrepreneurs and more -both known and unknown to us- came around the corner. It's always nice to see new faces at our events-this time was definitely one of them!

In addition, the evening was also an introduction to the venue: none other than owner Mitchell Hettema welcomed us to his brand new club CUBE (F.K.A. House Canteen). The space has undergone an impressive transformation, we feasted our eyes! At the end of the evening, the remaining crowd got a demonstration of the new smoke machine, lasers and sound system. I can't describe it other than a potluck, take a look at the renamed CUBE for yourself soon.

Does a drop-in evening sound good to you? We are organising the next one on Wednesday 21/05 at the Art Factory. We are open to talk about any concern, idea, plan - big or small - that you would like advice on. Stay as long - or short - as you like. We'll do it together. Entrance is always free.
