Thys is officially the Night Mayor of Rotterdam!

Almost a year ago now, the City of Rotterdam's Night Plan came out. In addition to a whole host of great plans, it included the intention to appoint Thys Boer (chairman N8W8 R'dam) as night mayor. Last 12 September, the time had finally come - echoing over the Witte de Wit, Thys was officially appointed night mayor of Rotterdam in a short ceremony with Alderman of Culture Said Kasmi.

Both Alderman Kasmi and (Night Mayor) Thys highlighted the strength of Rotterdammers, the beauty of Rotterdam and their looking forward to what the future holds. From Rising for the Night in 2019 to this moment in 2025, a lot has been done and a lot has already changed, we are super super super proud!
